Girl, you have a unique story to share with the world and I’m here to help you tell it. Farai, in the Shona language simply means “rejoice”! (Phillipians4v4).

My name is a daily reminder that despite whatever situation you find yourself in, God requires that we still rejoice in Him. What Paul commands here is not just a cheerful disposition, which many have by nature, but rather something that requires supernatural power, that is - joy in the Lord. Motivation reflects something unique about each one of us and allows us to gain valued outcomes like impro

😳 OMG YOU HAVENT LISTENED TO THIS EPISODE YET?!?

As I listened with fascination to Theo Olele story, I remembered the book by Bob Proctor called “You were born rich”, and in it he says “success is not always about “reaching out” for something that you don’t have but rather only “reaching over” and rearranging the pieces already there”!

This is exactly what Theo did and as such it became the premise of our conversation.

Theo’s powerful take on entrepreneurship will certainly help ANY aspiring entrepreneur increase their chances of success. I believe this story is something all potential young African entrepreneurs need to hear!

So hop on over to The Purpose Cafe, and listen to this powerful voice of our generation. Here is the link:

THIS EPISODE IS BROUGHT TO YOU BY GENERATION AFRICA - A movement I call Africa’s most promising. It is part of The Purpose Cafe's move not only to showcase but to inspire young African entrepreneurs.

Africa has more entrepreneurs than any other continent but why are they not all making 7-figures? How do you get over really dark times as an entrepreneur? How do mindset, glamour and prayer factor into making 7-figures? How can an entrepreneur become crisis/pandemic proof? Pull up and learn the answers to these questions.

I chat with Theo Olele a multi-talented young African man and unapologetic legacy builder. He shares his powerful thoughts on where and how entrepreneurship fits into the growth of Africa and how he intends to be an unforgettable force in this equation.

Theo founded his first business VL Magazine in 2013 from scratch and since then has made amazing strides and won over 15 media awards across Africa and globally. Hard work and success run through his veins and building generational wealth is his calling.

GUEST:
This week I had the privilege of chatting to one of my favourite African sisters, one of the most fascinatingly phenomenal women on the continent Vumile Msweli. This beautiful woman, not only wears her crown (and Louboutins ) like a boss, but with humility, strength and pride — with an expertise and excellence that only an African girl can.

The energy at the purpose cafe was on another L.E.V.E.L, I think its that African e-Coffee, that did it. I dare say that some of our “asides” were so cheesy, you would swear this podcast was The Pizza Cafe!

Vumi and I talk all things career from Cape to Cairo, navigating a career post-covid19, the importance of a career coach, ubuntu and being of service to others, we get candid about issues the African woman faces in the boardroom, and for those who are currently stuck in their careers she drops tips and advice on how you can get out of that funk and embrace your purpose.

I promise you once you listen to this episode, your perspective on your career will never be same! No more ordinary because you are extraordinary!

CONTENT OR NOT TO CONTENT… WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?
Much has been said about content creation, I believe that its purpose is to entertain, to inspire, to educate and to convince and how the failure to create content that aligns with these criteria could result in missing out on attracting your potential audiences.

In this episode coach Ojiugo Ajunwa gives us her thoughts around the purpose of content and how can it can be used to help brands and businesses to define their purpose. We talk about African content (in the bigger scheme of things in marketing, business, entertainment, science etc) will affect or influence its growth.

I certainly, hope you will learn from it and take advantage of some of the advice she offers, to grow your various businesses and brands.

Enjoy it!

Dlamini is your middle name FUN?! 🤣 Phew! What laughs we had recording this episode! That rapid-fire session at the end had me in stiches…

This episode is an ode to Women’s Month, to the sisterhood. gets candid about some of the lessons she has learnt around this in relation to failure, mistakes, and rising up in her power. For example many women have a lot of fear around money, questioning – “am I worthy of it?” – I ask LeAnne questions such as, does having lots of money necessarily equal success and happiness? Is a successful woman happy? How does money correlate to purpose? Find out the answers to these questions and more.

An incredibly generous and big-hearted daughter of Zion, LeAnne does not shy away nor tire from shinning spotlights on women in all spheres of life and so when I asked about voices she believes you should be listening to at the moment (no doubt her bag is full of these women!) she said and as such I encourage you to follow them on IG, support and encourage them… I certainly did!

“I’m LeAnne Dlamini and I live to inspire others through my journey as a mother, wife, entrepreneur and a recording artist. I believe in the power of influence that seeks to encourage and inspire women to look after themselves holistically.”

This powerful mission statement is in effect the premise of my conversation with my Soul Sister and mentor LeAnne Dlamini . Given the year that was 2020 and the hopelessness many women have been feeling, Oh- and not to mention the pivoting, the starting over again and again, the failed blueprints, how do we really achieve purpose and how much does it affect our hopes and aspirations? what does purpose and destiny mean for our collective futures as African women?

This conversation will inspire you to dream big, to purposefully design and live a life you truly love, to turn your moments into momentum!

🌺This one is for the movement.
🌺This one is for the Sisterhood.
🌺This one is for purpose.

EPISODE 5 IS OUT!

In answer to a question I’ve received in my DM several times, this week I take purpose a little deeper. The question paraphrased “My purpose is to create social change, but how do I create a positive impact … and still make money while doing so?”

My guest Ntsiki Mkhize went all kinds of profound with the answer. She went from intellectual to philosophical, to funny to serious, from thorough to weighty… yes she went there! I STILL have goosebumps each time I think about it.

I shan’t pre-empt it, I suggest you click LINK IN BIO and listen for yourself, I promise, you will thank me 🥳
