When Facebook became a monetized platform, many of us seized the opportunity to generate income, initially perceiving it as an effortless means of earning money. I, like many others, was among those who thought this way, particularly given our preference for solitude and private lives. However, one crucial aspect we overlooked was the emotional resilience required to handle the scrutiny that comes with sharing our personal lives online. Suddenly, everyone felt entitled to an opinion about our actions, appearance, and opinions. It's essential to acknowledge that our lives are imperfect, yet they are a blessing, and every day is a privilege. After all, many people don't get to see another day. Now, let's get back on track. As content creators, we not only need to post and produce content but also engage with our audience. This involves going through others' posts, commenting, liking, and following - tasks that can be overwhelming. Moreover, comments can start off positively but quickly turn sour when individuals offer insensitive opinions. So, how do we cope with the emotional fallout? Do we abandon our endeavors and let negativity get the best of us? No, we must hold our heads high and recognize that our journey is ours alone, unaffected by others' opinions.
