WE'RE HIRING: GRADE R & GRADE RRR TEACHERS

Luluki Preschool, Randpark Ridge

Luluki is a reputable, well-established preschool in Randpark Ridge, and we're growing. We're looking for two warm, dedicated teachers to join our team.

The roles

Grade R Teacher

Non-negotiables:
Minimum N6 qualification, or a diploma in Grade R teaching
Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English

Grade RRR Teacher
Non-negotiables:
Minimum N6 qualification

For both roles, first aid training is a strong advantage.

What we're looking for
We run a strong digital system, so we need someone confident with technology and experienced in using it to enhance learning. Everything from daily communication to progress reports is digital.

Today, Luluki was filled with the most beautiful kind of love.

Our little ones worked so hard to surprise their mamas, and watching those moments of joy and hugs reminded us exactly why we do what we do. From handmade cards to carefully chosen gifts, every single child poured their whole heart into today.

To every mom in our Luluki family: you are seen, you are celebrated, and you are so deeply loved. Not just today, but every day.
A special thank you to our dads for partnering with us to make today extra special. You made it possible for the magic to happen.

Amazing demo morning at Luluki Preschool & Baby Center/Kleuterskool & Babasentrum. It was so great seeing all of our Playballers and meeting the new kiddos.

Walking through the school today feels a little magical. The classrooms are quiet for now, but you can almost hear the echoes of laughter, the tiny footsteps, the excited voices ready to share holiday stories, and the beautiful playfulness that fills these spaces so completely.

As a principal, moments like these fill my heart with immense pride — pride in what we have built together as a team, in the love that lives within these walls, and in the safe, nurturing space we get to call our school.

I’m so looking forward to seeing our wonderful teachers again, reconnecting with our families, catching up with parents, hearing all about your holidays, and seeing that familiar sense of relief and comfort as you bring your children back “home” to us.

We are truly excited, deeply grateful, and incredibly honoured to have your children in our care. Thank you for trusting us with your little ones.

We cannot wait to open our doors again on Monday and fill this school with life, love, learning, and joy. 💛

Dear Community,

I am sharing these images with the post, and I know it might upset some of you. As the principal of Luluki, I feel that it is my duty to reach out to our wonderful community. You have helped many of the charities Luluki supports in the past, and this is something very close to our homes. Please feel free to share this post with community groups.

As we enter the season of giving, we would like to extend an invitation to anyone who feels moved to do so:

If you have any old clothes or toys in good condition, or if you would like to buy a small gift or donate some yummy snacks, we welcome your donations.

These items will be handed out to children on the streets in the Randpark Ridge and surrounding areas on Friday, 12 December 2025.

While we know that we cannot change their circumstances, we can brighten their day with a small gesture of kindness. Our country hasn’t done much about the fact that these women use their own and other people’s children to beg. We hope that greater action will be taken in the future, but for now, this is something we can do.

This is something very close to my heart. I always keep snacks, clothes, and toys in my car, and whenever I see children in need, I stop to offer them something special. If you ever find your little one’s toys or clothes piling up, please consider doing the same. Even the smallest act of kindness can create an impact far greater than we realise. This way allows the child access to basic needs, without supporting the person using the child to beg. We do not wish to enable the movement, but rather, help the little ones who fall victim to these unfortunate circumstances.
