Described as a 'screamingly funny' satire, the play was originally conceived as a Bouffon piece and is an excellent example of devised work using clowning, mime, chorus and movement to tell a biting contemporary tale of End Stage Capitalism and more!

The show has received rave reviews and sold-out houses at .obs as well as a nomination for 'Best Ensemble' in 2024.

Congratulations to Kyla Davis - - who has been accepted on to the Pedagogic Journey programme at acclaimed theatre school Helikos in Padova, Italy.

After a competitive application process, Kyla was accepted as part of a class of 14 international students of theatre pedagogy and will depart for an intensive 3-month training programme in March 2025. She will be taught by Giovanni Fusetti, a master teacher in Mask and Movement Theatre Creation!

We wish Kyla safe and happy travels and are so excited for her return when she will bring her newfound knowledge and experience back to us and the future students of JMAM.

Four weeks ago, we started with a lump of clay and a dream. Fast forward through endless layers of paper-mâché, Pollyfiller and sanding sessions that could rival any spa treatment, last night we finally slapped on some paint and brought these characters to life.

Big love to our amazing participants for your dedication, creativity, and patience—your characters are unforgettable! 💥

A massive shoutout to and the UJ team for hosting us and putting up with the chaos—we couldn't have done it without you. And of course, huge thanks to Rob and Kyla for guiding us through every twist, turn, and layer of this process. Your expertise and encouragement carried us to the finish line! 🙌
