A powerful evening of women, leadership and legacy.

University of Johannesburg hosted the Dr Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka Annual Lecture, bringing together leaders, academics, guests and members of the university community for meaningful conversations on women’s leadership and societal impact.🧡

Held under the theme ‘Women Driving Societal Impact: Legacy, Leadership, and the Future’, the lecture reflected on the legacy of women who challenged injustice while highlighting the work still needed to advance equality, representation and inclusive leadership.

Today, the University of Johannesburg hosts the inaugural Dr Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka Annual Lecture under the theme ‘Women Driving Societal Impact: Legacy, Leadership, and the Future’.

The lecture will feature Her Excellency Ambassador Thenjiwe Mtintso as the distinguished guest speaker, creating a powerful platform for intergenerational dialogue on women, leadership, social justice and the future.
