🌱 Growing More Than Just Vegetables 🌱

For our Grade 10 LO assignment, AYM Academy decided to tackle real-world issues head-on. Our mission? To reduce poverty, create a sustainable environment and ensure food availability for our community.

Today, we planted the seeds of change...literally. This garden is a symbol of our commitment to a better, greener, and more self-sufficient future. 🌍🥕

Alhamdulillah, we are so proud of the amazing turnout and talent at our Qiraat competition last month. It was truly inspiring to hear our students recite.

A massive MashaAllah and congratulations to Jaabir Omar for coming out in 1st Place! 🥇 May your journey with the Quran continue to be blessed.

Shining a light on discovery! 🔦✨

Our Grade 8 learners at AYM Academy are diving into a Natural Sciences practical, investigating how light travels in straight lines and how images are formed.

There's nothing better than hands-on science to spark curiosity! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬

Rising temperatures, rising transpiration? 🌡️🌿 Our Grade 10s put their hypotheses to the test today at AYM Academy, investigating exactly how temperature impacts the rate of water movement in plants. Nothing beats hands-on science! 🔬

Fresh air, new perspectives, and good company. 🌿🌄
Today’s excursion to FRP was the reset we didn't know we needed. Sometimes the best classroom has no walls.
Who else wishes every day could be a field trip? 🙋‍♂️

Market Day was a massive success! The students built stalls, set prices, and sold their hearts out. We might have a few future "Sharks" in this group. 🦈

At AYM Academy, we ground every student in the values that shape who they become: Patience, Honesty, Respect, and Discipline.

Not just spoken about but practised. In how we handle setbacks, own our mistakes, develope our character, and show up on time, every time.

This is character building the AYM way.

Every parent wants the same thing which is to see their child succeed in a space where they feel safe, valued, and challenged. 🧡

That’s exactly what we’ve built at AYM Academy.

We are officially open for admissions for the 2027 Academic Year, and we are looking for families in Johannesburg who want more than just a school, we want partners in raising the next generation.

Why AYM?
✅ Holistic growth (mind, body, and soul)
✅ Safe, nurturing environment
✅ Strong Islamic foundation
✅ Quality education that prepares them for tomorrow

Come see the difference for yourself ! 🏫

Sparking curiosity in Natural Sciences! 🔌
Our Grade 5 and 6s had a brilliant time building electric circuits today by connecting wires, bulbs, and batteries with so much enthusiasm.

Seeing their faces light up (literally!) is what teaching is all about.

Jazakallah to our amazing teachers and dedicated young minds for this electrifying effort! ⚡💡
