Who gets to imagine the future and who gets to build it?
On June 23, we celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, this year under the theme . 🌟

It’s a powerful reminder that engineering is not only about machines, code, or technical knowledge. It is about noticing problems, asking better questions, designing solutions, and understanding how technology affects real people’s lives.
That is exactly why representation matters. If girls and women are not equally present in STEM, we lose perspectives, ideas, and solutions that the world urgently needs. The future should not be designed from only one point of view. 🧠

For children, this starts much earlier than choosing a career. It starts when a girl feels that robotics is for her too. That coding is not “a boys’ thing.” That her questions, ideas, and way of thinking belong in the room.

Through play, children build connections, practise leadership, develop resilience, navigate challenges, express their imagination, and feel safe enough to explore the world around them.
And in today’s world, play can take many forms: building, running, imagining, solving puzzles, designing games, coding projects, or exploring digital challenges. The real value is not the tool itself — it’s whether children are actively thinking, creating, and learning through it.
