295 girls. One hall. One unforgettable moment. 🇿🇦❤️

During this Women’s Month, I had the privilege of standing in front of 295 young girls from different schools across Soweto at Orlando Communal Hall, for a Girls Conference hosted by SAHAC Courage Youth. .kids

When I looked across the room and saw all those young girls sitting together, I couldn’t help but think about how many different stories were in that room. Different backgrounds. Different dreams. Different challenges. But for that moment, we were together, learning, sharing and having conversations that matter.

For me, speaking to young girls is never just about holding a microphone and delivering a message.

It is about reminding a young girl that she matters, her health matters, her confidence matters, and her future matters.

As the Founder and Head Coach ’U’ Children’s Life Coaching Academy, entrepreneur ,author and public speaker, I believe that conversations around personal hygiene, self-confidence, entrepreneurship and self-worth can make a real difference in a young person’s life.

And during Women’s Month, this felt even more meaningful.

We celebrate the women who came before us, the women who stood up and opened doors, but we must also ask ourselves: what are we doing today to prepare the next generation of young women?

To every girl who was sitting in that hall, I hope you remember this:

Never allow where you come from to convince you that you cannot become more. Your story is still being written.

Thank you to SAHAC Courage Youth for creating a space where young girls could be seen, heard and encouraged.

And to the 295 girls, thank you for allowing me to share this moment with you.

Women….I’m calling on you to invite the men in your life. When God calls for a man in a season like this, it is our responsibility to respond and align with what He is doing. This is a season of restoration and I believe God is positioning men to be healed, strengthened and restored according to His order and mandate.
