Isn't this image breath taking? While the mermaid is not a standard tarot card, this misubderstanding between AI and myself created something gorgeous.

I had asked AI to depict something truly South African, to include all our race groups: black, white, coloured and Indian.

I suggested, for the Star card, a possible reference to the Mermaid of the Karoo. This was one of the "blunders" we had, but such a beautiful blunder, I had to share it.

I adore this image of the Hanged Man card in South African style. It took a bit of tweeking to get it just right with AI, but it moves me. The Hanged Man represents the moment we hang upside down from a tree to look at things from a spiritual perspective. Here I wanted somehting Khoi /San inspired with reference to wisdom, The owl embodies that for me
