A recent LinkedIn Workplace Learning Report concluded that more than 40% of gen Z, and a similar percentage of millennial employees, preferred self-directed workplace learning. For gen X and boomers, that percentage was 33%.

It is our instinct as people to hide our fears, our lack of knowledge, our shortfalls. It is also instinct for us to protect our intellectual property for fear of people stealing our ideas. Both these prevent us from having open discussions about things that fundamentally impact our businesses.

Digital transformation and everything that it entails is one of these conversations.
