Trees are nature’s superheroes! 🤩 Not only do they store carbon and provide oxygen, but they’re also incredibly versatile.

5 Surprising Things Made from Trees:

1. Medicine & Makeup 💄: Cellulose from trees is used in various products.
2. Fabric & Clothing 👕: Natural fibres for comfy wear.
3. Food & Vitamins 🍎: Trees give us ingredients for healthy living.

Oftentimes, people call a company and immediately ask, “Who is speaking?”
However, the person answering the phone does not know you, and asking that question first can sound unnecessary.
Instead, begin by introducing yourself and stating the purpose of your call.
For example:
“Good morning, my name is Shane. I’m calling to enquire about the social department. Am I speaking with the correct department?”
Keep your message short, clear, and direct. The person answering the phone is usually there to direct calls and assist quickly, and they may not have time for long explanations or unnecessary questions.
Remember, you called for a reason.
State your name, briefly explain why you are calling, and ask if you have reached the right department.
For example:
“Hello, my name is Patrick. I’m not sure if this is the correct department. I’m looking for the social department, please.”
Professional phone etiquette is about being respectful of other people’s time—keeping the conversation brief, polite, and to the point.
