IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

It's been a wonderful two years of launching and running JSSM in Jeffrey's Bay. After prayerful consideration, we have decided to put PAUSE on JSSM for now. The season has changed drastically in the last few months, so we know it's time to move on - for now.

Our director, Vicki, will study BA Creative Writing in Port Elizabeth next year. This is something she wanted to do for so many years, and for the first time South Africa has made this degree available.
You can follow her journey via her Page: Vicki Fourie

We have loved working with each and every one of our students. This isn't goodbye - we know that the Lord still wants to do great things with JSSM, and we will keep our eyes and ears open for when we need to reopen JSSM again in the future.

To all our friends, family and students: Thank you for all your support these past two years. May you be blessed!

The final term for JSSM this year kicked off last week. We can't believe there's only a few weeks left till the end of this year.

This previous weekend, Vicki (JSSM's director) and Bonita (JSSM's pastor) attended a women's conference in Jeffrey's Bay. A big part of our core values at JSSM is relationships and community. This includes dating, marriage, communication and self-management.

What does this look like? We commit to loving and serving one another. This creates a strong relational foundation for ministry. There is a desire to work through differences and protect connection.
Connection is always the priority. We don’t work with one another because we agree with each other 100% of the time, we work together because we are family and love one another.

How are you stewarding community and relationships in your life?

We were not meant to live ordinary lives. We were meant to live a life full of the revelation of God’s love and power; a life that is extraordinary and supernatural.

When we realize the truth that nothing is impossible with God, we become aware of how He wants to shift circumstances supernaturally in lives, cities, and nations.

We can most clearly see this core value in the life of Jesus, who demonstrated a lifestyle of dependence on the Father and performed miracles, signs, and wonders.
Indeed, every impossible circumstance Jesus confronted was shifted supernaturally! He healed the sick, restored the broken, and raised the dead.
Jesus is our model for ministry, and as His ambassadors, we have been given authority to do even greater works than He did (See Matthew 19:26).

During these past couple of weeks, we had the honour of hosting one of our first year students in our home. Zoe just returned from Vietnam and is now on her way to Russia. She's also family, and it was a delight to spend precious time with her little boy.
The third term at JSSM kicked off this week. We will now focus on prophetic ministry, as well as kingdom culture and how it works practically in our daily lives.

I am so excited for this week! The Recreate Arts Conference in Port Elizabeth kicks off on Wednesday and will conclude on Friday.
I will host two creative writing workshops - ‘How To Write A Devotional’ and ‘How To Write A Memoir.’

AND each and every one attending the conference will receive a FREE Viva la Vicki book!

You can still book your place. It is so worth it…

Building the kingdom with the King is the most exciting, purpose-filled existence a human being can have. We are honored and excited to build this culture within JSSM. We teach our students how to grow in spiritual gifts and practices such as healing, prophecy, evangelism, intercession, deliverance, prayer ministry, and more.
