Howard Ndlela: Part 2

Mr Howard Ndlela has faithfully served Howick Prep School since 1981- he joined us when he was 18 years old and has been the backbone of our School for 46 years.

This past week has been an emotional roller-coaster of events leading up to Howard's retirement at the end of August.
Nr Ndlela has worked tirelessly in our Boarding Establishment, later known as The Teaching and Learning Centre, as our Caretaker, Chef, Cleaner and Cobbler. What better way than renaming the original HPS building to The Howard Ndlela Centre

JP Athletics Day 2026 ‍👟

Our campus was a buzz of excited Grade R-3 children, who for some participated in their first Athletics morning at Howick Prep School.

Thank you to our Parents who so willingly come and join in the fun and activities- here is hoping the muscles (& egos) aren't too sore after the Moms & Dads races

SP Inter-House Athletics

A beautiful Winters Day called for our annual Inter-House Track & Relay Athletics Day. Shepstone, Maritz, King & Retief all battled it out, chasing the long standing records (some still standing from 1971)

We congratulate the athletes who broke the following records:
