On 27th of August, we were joined by Dr Kwezi Mabasa and Mr Bongani Mahlangu for an insightful Masterclass unpacking the immigration crisis in South Africa.
The class examined the various socio-economic factors that have intensified tensions around immigration, including unemployment, inequality and economic decline. The discussion also went beyond understanding the challenges to critically consider possible solutions and policy responses to the crisis facing our country.
