At House Assembly on Thursday we wished Mrs Maartens farewell as she moves on to a teaching position at Afrikaanse Hoër Meisieskool.

“Mrs Maartens, your contributions to Armstrong House have been truly invaluable, and we cannot thank you enough for your unwavering dedication. From your diligent care of the Form 3 tutor group to your role as our resident graphic designer, you have consistently gone above and beyond in your service to the house. Your willingness to assist with all house matters, your proactive approach as a tutor, and your steadfast commitment have not gone unnoticed. Armstrong House will deeply miss your presence, but we extend our best wishes for your next endeavour. We take comfort in knowing that you will not be far and that your allegiance to Armstrong House remains strong.”

The school’s jazz band performed two electric pieces as a tribute to Mrs Maartens.
