Today tears are flowing, hearts are broken and its with a feeling of disbelief and senselessness that we commemorate 1 year - 365+ days since the horrors that happened in the early morning of 7 October 2023 - it feels like yesterday.

I can't even fathom or imagine what it must be like for the people of Israel impacted by atrocities (there are no words ....) that happened in the early morning of that day.

I don't know how to make sense of this but I know how to find meaning and joy in the deepest of sorrow. I remember doing a live and sharing that the taste in my mouth had changed, reflecting, for me, the profound embodied response I experienced on that morning when hearing the news, and then each and every day since then.

As I witness the painful stories that are being shared, each story filled with millions of stories and moments of the shattering from a hatred that is being projected - its tangible and horrific. My wisdom and calling is to turn towards God and in deep prayer to ask for comfort.

Every night for this year, I have said this prayer before I sleep. It has comforted me and connected me with God in a very gentle and honouring way.

Shema yisrael Adonai eloheinu Adonai echad.
[barukh shem kevod malkhuto le'olam va'ed.]

We don't know what will unfold later today, let alone in the future, but what we do know is that through love, peace and prayer, we will find the strength to continue to shine our light into the world.
To hold reverence, to serve, and to repair.

May all beings be blessed and know that they are loved
May all beings be safe and protected
May all beings be comforted
May all beings know kindness and love

Learn To Get Your Values Right

What are you doing about the things that matter in life? Have you got your values right? Why not take time to be still, go into the silence, study your motives, and see whether they are of the highest? Only you can do it. No one else can do it for you. It may even mean waiting upon Me without receiving an immediate answer. You may have important lessons to learn which you can learn only by being still and waiting upon Me, especially if you are an impatient and demanding soul.

Why make excuses for yourself? You know all the answers in theory. Now it is time you put them into practice and see how they work for you. You will never learn these vitally important lessons until you put them to the test yourself. Why not do it now and stop wasting time thinking about them? Learn to get your values right and put first things first. Let Me work in and through you.

If I ever question what I do in this world, when I receive a message from a very special client that reads as follows:

"Dear dear Nidhi. Thank you so very much for your loving help yesterday. And your time. Thank you thank you for putting me back on track."

I know that what I offer has deep meaning.

Crocheting is a meditative weaving practice for me, and each item I make is filled with the intention of love, calmness and beauty. I love working with yarn that is spun and dyed naturally and is kind to both the body and the earth.

I made this baby hat for a very special boy, born on the day that his great-grandmother died. They sent me a photo of the hat on a very precious head 💙

In the North its Beltane, honouring the Celtic God of Fire, which blesses the field, animals, and community - maintaining the tender and fragile balance between humans and the Otherworld.

And in the South we honour Samhain - the end of summer and the harvest season. Winter is coming and in this time the veil is thin between the living and the dead.

Most of all today we honour the fragility and beauty of life - bringing more light, compassion, kindness, respect and LOVE into the world.

Sending love and light to one and ALL 🤍

This !!!!

Why did God create evil? The answer struck me to the core of my soul!

A professor at the university asked his students the following question: Everything that exists was created by God?

One student bravely answered:
- Yes, created by God.
- Did God create everything? - the professor asked.
“Yes, sir,” replied the student.
The professor asked : - If God created everything, then God created evil, since it exists. And according to the principle that our deeds define ourselves, then God is evil.

The student became silent after hearing such an answer. The professor was very pleased with himself. He boasted to students for proving once again that faith in God is a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said:
- Can I ask you a question, professor?
"Of course," replied the professor.
The student got up and asked:
- Professor, is cold a thing?
- What kind of question? Of course it exists. Have you ever been cold?
Students laughed at the young man's question. The young man answered:
- Actually, sir, cold doesn't exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is actually the absence of heat. A person or object can be studied on whether it has or transmits energy.
Absolute zero (-460 degrees Fahrenheit) is a complete absence of heat. All matter becomes inert and unable to react at this temperature. Cold does not exist. We created this word to describe what we feel in the absence of heat.
The student continued: - Professor, does darkness exist?
— Of course it exists.
- You're wrong again, sir. Darkness also does not exist. Darkness is actually the absence of light. We can study the light but not the darkness. We can use Newton's prism to spread white light across multiple colours and explore the different wavelengths of each colour. You can't measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into the world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you tell how dark a certain space is? You measure how much light is presented. Isn't it so? Darkness is a term man uses to describe what happens in the absence of light.

In the end, the young man asked the professor:
- Sir, does evil exist?
This time it was uncertain, the professor answered:
- Of course, as I said before. We see him every day. Cruelty, numerous crimes and violence throughout the world. These examples are nothing but a manifestation of evil.
To this, the student answered:
- Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist for itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is like darkness and cold—a man-made word to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not faith or love, which exist as light and warmth. Evil is the result of the absence of Divine love in the human heart. It’s the kind of cold that comes when there is no heat, or the kind of darkness that comes when there’s no light.

The student's name was Albert Einstein.
