🏆 DOUGLAS CUP CHAMPIONS 2026 🏆
Hilton College has reclaimed the Douglas Cup after a thrilling victory over Michaelhouse that went down to the final hole.
The Ryder Cup-style format saw Hilton win the opening Alternate Shot session 4-2 before Michaelhouse responded to take the Better Ball session 5-1.
That left the individual match-play games to decide the contest, with the result hanging in the balance until the very end.
With Hilton needing a win, Harley Larsen stood 1 down with one hole to play. Facing Michaelhouse’s No. 1 player, he knew he had to win the hole to halve his match and secure the overall victory for Hilton. Under immense pressure, Harley held his nerve and delivered.
An unforgettable finish, watched by teammates and parents.
Congratulations to Harley and to the entire Hilton team on a hard-fought Douglas Cup triumph!

On Wednesday, The Mission fly fishing magazine's inaugural Raw African Unfiltered Fly Fishing Film Festival (RAUFFFF) casts off at the Hilton College Theatre.

The lineup features films by African filmmakers and about African destinations, species and characters, with a few international curveballs thrown in for good measure (cough ... Rolf Nylinder).

For those keen to test-drive Rio lines and Xplorer rods, there will be a casting demonstration at the Fleur-de-Lys Club before the show. Arrive from 17:30, have a cast, then amble across to the theatre for the screening. Boerie rolls and refreshments will be available at the Fleur-de-Lys Club before the films begin.

But wait, there's more! Prizes ranging from fly-fishing clobber to destination giveaways! So start practising your best seal impression and you could walk away with anything from a cap to an all-expenses-paid trip somewhere special.

Polo | International Honours for Hilton College boys

Congratulations to Ryan Jellis (Grade 11) and Zac Dunn (Grade 8) on their selection to the Zambia Schools U18 Polo Team, which claimed an impressive 8.5-5 victory over Kenya in the U18 International Polo Tournament held at Manyatta Polo Club in Gilgil. Ryan captained the side and was named Man of the Match after scoring seven of Zambia's eight goals in a commanding performance.

Ryan and Dominic Dunn, Zac's brother, have also been selected for the Zambian A Schools side to face the South African Junior team in Underberg in October.

We are proud of Ryan and the Dunn brothers for the skill, commitment and sportsmanship they continue to display, representing both Zambia and Hilton College with distinction on and off the field.
