Term 3 is almost here 🤩 Two terms down, two to go — we’re officially halfway through the year!

We can’t wait to welcome our families back and hear all about the holiday adventures 💬✨ As we ease back into routine, just a few gentle reminders: please pack a healthy lunch to fuel busy little bodies, a water bottle, a hat, and some labelled warm layers for those cooler mornings 🍎👒🎒

Here’s to a term filled with learning, laughter, and plenty of play 🤸🏽 We’ll see you very soon!

We instinctively teach children how to read a room just to figure out how to be accepted by it. We praise them for blending in, encourage them to follow the crowd, and inadvertently teach them that safety means staying entirely within the comfortable expectations of the people around them.

But there is a dangerous, exhausting difference between fitting in and truly belonging.

Fitting in requires a child to actively assess a space and alter their personality, swallow their perspective, or shrink their energy just to be tolerated by it. It forces them to wear a mask.

When a child learns that acceptance is a transaction that requires them to betray who they are, they spend their entire lives chasing approval from rooms that were never built to hold them.

True belonging never asks a human being to trade away their dignity.

We want to raise children who carry an internal anchor so steady that they never feel the need to auction themselves off to a crowd. They don't look at a group and ask, “Do they like me?” They look at a group and ask, “Does this space respect who I am?”

Our job under this roof is to make their authenticity entirely safe today, so they don’t spend all their time bargaining for it tomorrow.

When they know their worth is completely non-negotiable at home, they step out into the world with the unshakeable confidence to walk away from any door that requires them to shrink just so they can enter it. ❤️

🌟✨ End of Term 2 Reflections ✨🌟

What a busy and productive term it has been! So many little bodies and busy brains hard at work 💚 We are incredibly proud of the growth we’ve seen over the past six months — it’s been truly wonderful to witness 🤗

We think everyone is more than ready for a well-deserved break! 😅🌴

📌 A gentle reminder that today, 26 June, is the last day of school for Term 2, and Term 3 will begin on 22 July.

What a fun and exciting day we had yesterday at our SUPER exciting Shavathon! 🎉

We are so proud to share that we raised an amazing R900 for 🙌💛 — all while showing courage, compassion, and a wonderful sense of community.

🌊🐋 A Fin-tastic End to Our Ocean Theme! 🐋🌊

What a wonderful show with Educate Facinate earlier this week — the perfect way to wrap up our term theme! 🤗

Our learners explored the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling to help protect our oceans and all the incredible creatures within them 🦀🐢🐋

From tiny crabs to magnificent blue whales, there was so much to discover… and we’re sure the children can’t wait to tell you all about the famous “blue p**p loop” 😉💙

Learning that’s fun, memorable, and meaningful — just the way we love it! 🌎❤️
