To all the overwhelmed parents: I'd like to offer my services in order to ease the burden.

I can only imagine how difficult it must be to have had to receive learning packs from school and feel like you are responsible for homeschooling your child. I would therefore like to assist in relieving any stress and anxiety this has caused.

Should your child not be able to return to school from the 4th May (we will have to see what the Minister of Education says tomorrow), I would like to offer the following:

I will be resuming work from my office as of the 4th of May and will therefore be available for learning support lessons, during which I can assist with work given to students. These can be one-on-one or in pairs.

Please note, the health standards will meet the protocols set by government.

I am also available over Zoom and Microsoft Teams to have online lessons with students. This time can be used to assist with school-given work. For example: I can assist in clarifying and working through Maths concepts, working on essays and assignments, listening to your child do his/her reading, assisting with spelling homework, etc.

If you are able to return to work, but your child still has to stay home, we will find an online platform that is easy for your child to operate independently, such as Skype.
