Early in June we held a school career day where tertiary institutions got an opportunity to engage with our high school students about their educational pathway after high school.
Thanks to the institutions for your input and guidance.

Today the Fifa World Cup starts with South Africa taking on Mexico.
Yesterday our own football stars took on King George Academy. The result didn't go our way with the match ending with a score of 6-3 to the visitors.
We're extremely proud of our players who showed heart, determination and a great team spirit.
Well done to all of you!!

In a world that often hurries children along, Waldorf education protects and honors the vital role of unhurried, imaginative play.
For a child, play isn't a break from learning; it is the learning. It is how they test ideas, build social resilience, problem-solve, and make sense of the world around them.
When children are given the space to explore creatively through their "head, heart, and hands," they aren't just passing the time; they are building the structural foundations for lifelong curiosity and deep cognitive growth.

Our Class 4 learners are deep in an immersive Norse mythology Main Lesson block! After exploring the creation of the Norse world, they’ve just met Thor and Loki, and are currently following the epic tale of how Thor's hammer was forged.
To bring these stories to life, history has moved off the pages and into the classroom:
🌿 The Tree of Life: A visual, growing model built by the class using Lego figures, boxes, puppets, and felted creations.
🎤 Viking Assembly: The students have a Viking ship in the classroom and are practicing a traditional song for Monday's assembly performance.
🎨 Creative Crafts: Their Main Lesson books are looking excellent. Tomorrow, they will craft clay Viking relic pendants, followed by a Thursday reading lesson where they will build Lego accessories to help retell the myths.
It is beautiful to watch history come alive through their own hands.
At Roseway Waldorf, we believe that true education is not about memorizing facts to pass an exam and then forgetting them. Instead, it is about nurturing a deep, conscious interest in the world.
When students actively engage with their lessons through their "head, heart, and hands," learning becomes a living process. By fostering natural curiosity and independent thinking, we help children develop a genuine love for discovery that stays with them long after they leave the classroom.
Our goal is to prepare students not just for school, but for life, equipping them to be lifelong learners who continue to grow, adapt, and thrive in an ever-changing world.
