This Women’s Day, we celebrate the women who love, teach, guide, protect and encourage the children in our lives - and we also celebrate the little girls who are still discovering just how capable they are.

At Waterfall Pre-Primary, we see those moments every day.

A little girl trying something new.

Helping a friend.
Taking the lead in play.
Asking questions.
Building confidence one small brave moment at a time.

Because strong, kind and confident women do not appear overnight. They are shaped through love, encouragement, opportunity and the belief that they belong.

There has been no shortage of delicious "mud pies," leafy soups and mystery stews coming out of our Mud Kitchen this week! 🌞

With the beautiful weather on our side, our little chefs have been busy mixing, pouring, scooping and creating the most imaginative recipes. Every pot, pan and bowl has been filled with muddy masterpieces, while little imaginations have been hard at work serving up their latest culinary creations.🥣

The Mud Kitchen is so much more than messy fun – it's a place where imaginations come to life, friendships grow, language develops, and little hands build confidence through play.

We think the only ingredient missing is an adult brave enough to sample the menu! 😄

There is nothing quite like the sound of happy children filling our classrooms again! 💛

Our first week of Term 3 has been filled with laughter, learning, creativity, and plenty of fun. It has been wonderful to welcome all our little ones back and see them settling in so happily with their friends and teachers.

From busy hands to smiling faces, it's been a fantastic start to the term, and we can't wait to see all the exciting adventures that lie ahead.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of visiting Siyajabula to deliver the incredible Winter Warmth donations collected from our Waterfall Pre-Primary families. ❤️🧣

A huge thank you to every parent who contributed blankets, warm clothing, and other much-needed items. Your generosity and kindness will make a real difference in the lives of so many children and families this winter.

It is always so special to visit the communities and schools we are able to support. Seeing the smiling faces, hearing the laughter, and witnessing the joy that these donations bring is a beautiful reminder of the impact that even the smallest act of kindness can have.

We are incredibly grateful to be part of a caring school community that continually opens its hearts to others. Together, with Focus on iThemba we are helping to spread warmth, hope, and love where it is needed most.
