At Waterfall Pre-Primary it is our ultimate aim to nurture and encourage every child in our care to realise his/her full potential in a secure loving environment. Close personal attention to each child is essential to providing a quality experience for all children; therefore, only trained personnel will be hired to ensure each child has the proper supervision in our care. We are registered with the Department of Social Development and our Teachers are all Qualified. Extra Mural Activities also offered: which are Ballet, Playball, Hip Hop, Soccer Stars, Track and Trail and Gymnastics

We are also proud to mention that we have an aftercare facility available until 17:00 every day and run a full holiday care program from 07:00 to 17:00 during school holidays.

Chocolate pudding. Zero spoons. Maximum learning. 🤎

There was squishing, smearing, scooping, tasting temptation, chocolatey fingers and more than a little mess.

But underneath all that fun, our little learners were exploring texture, using their senses, building confidence and discovering through hands-on play.

At Waterfall Pre-Primary, we love giving children the freedom to get stuck in, get messy and learn in ways that feel completely natural to them.

Because sometimes the best learning looks a lot like chocolate pudding everywhere. 😂🤎

What a way to wrap up Term 3! 🎉🇿🇦

On Wednesday, we celebrated Heritage Day with a whole lot of colour, culture and fun as our little Waterfall friends came to school dressed up in celebration! 💛

With beautiful outfits, big smiles and plenty of excitement, we gathered together in the hall for a very special Heritage Day celebration — and our little ones certainly made it one to remember!

Each class had a turn to stand up and share a special performance with everyone. We sang songs in different languages, celebrated the beautiful diversity within our school, and even had one class perform in sign language! 👏🏼

There was something so lovely about watching the children listen, join in, cheer each other on and proudly share what they had been learning. 🥰

And because it was also our Term 3 break-up day, there was an extra dose of excitement in the air! What better way to finish off a busy term than by celebrating together, having fun and making a few more special memories along the way?

We love that our little ones are growing up learning to appreciate, respect and celebrate the many cultures and traditions that make up our beautiful South Africa. ❤️

Well done, Term 3 — you were a good one! Now it’s time for a little rest, fun and family time before we do it all again. 🌈

Every child arrives at school with a story already beginning - the people they love, the words they hear at home, the foods they know, the family traditions they grow up with and all the little things that help shape who they are.

At Waterfall Pre-Primary, we love watching those different stories meet in the playground, around the classroom table and in the friendships formed along the way.
Today we celebrate the beautiful mix of people, cultures and traditions that make South Africa home.

🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣 It started with just one little dot… and look where it took us!

Today our little Waterfall artists got busy making their mark as we celebrated International Dot Day!

Inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ beautiful book The Dot, Dot Day is all about reminding children that everyone can create, everyone has something special to offer, and sometimes the bravest thing you can do is simply… have a go! ❤️

Our kiddies got to explore, create, experiment and, of course, make LOTS of dots!

Because a little dot can become:
🌱 The beginning of a big idea
✨ A moment of “I CAN do this!”
🎨 Something completely their own
💛 And the first step towards making their mark

We loved seeing all the different ideas and colourful creations come to life. No two dots were quite the same — and that’s exactly the point! 😉

Our Spring Cake Sale was a delicious success! 💚 The Green Group parents pulled out all the stops with the most amazing goodies, and our kiddies had the BEST time choosing their own special treats.

There’s nothing quite like seeing those little faces light up as they decide what they’re going to buy!

The kiddies also got to dress up in their spring civvies for the day - even though the chilly weather clearly didn’t get the memo! 🥶

A huge thank you to our wonderful Green Group parents for all the baking, creating and love that went into making the morning so special. 💚

There is something very special about watching little learners get stuck in. 💛

The rolling, squishing, choosing, chatting, sharing and trying again - these are the small everyday moments where confidence starts to grow.

At Waterfall Pre-Primary, children are encouraged to learn through play, explore with their hands, build friendships, and feel safe enough to try new things.

It is a gentle, happy start to school life - with caring teachers close by, meals included, and busy days filled with play, learning and discovery.

Admissions are now open for 2027, from 12 months to Grade 00.
