What a Big Walk it was! 👟☀️

Waterfall Pre-Primary’s annual Big Walk brought our school community together for a morning of walking, running, cheering, delicious treats and plenty of fun!

Our little walkers (and their grown-ups!) got those steps in, took part in the races and enjoyed a morning filled with happy moments and school spirit.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful families, sponsors and supporters who helped make the day such a success. Your generosity and support meant so much to us! 🧡

It was a morning of connection, community and lots of little memories made along the way.

We’re so proud to share a look back at the Prep’s magical production, Off to Neverland.

'Off to Neverland' was so much more than a production — it was a collection of moments, memories, friendships and a whole lot of magic that we’ll treasure for years to come.

Our incredible cast shone like stars on stage, pouring their hearts into every performance and giving it their absolute all. We couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of them. Joy overflowed the Hall, with family and friends sharing their laughter and pride.

A special mention must go to our amazing backstage crew, the sound team and our incredible producers - Mrs Louw and Mrs Ren. They worked tirelessly, supported one another and gave their very best to bring the magic to life behind the scenes. You were an important part of what made this production so special. And to all our wonderful parents who got involved and supported the journey along the way — we couldn’t have done it without you.

What a journey. What a team. What memories.
Until our next adventure…

Honouring our students' talent and commitment.

Assembly on 19 August was a special one, as we celebrated some of our students' achievements across sport and culture. From the dojo to the rugby field, soccer pitch, debating stage and drum majorettes, our learners continue to show us what it means to commit, compete and give their best.

Karate – Our learners brought home an impressive collection of gold, silver and bronze medals at the Annual Karate Tournament, with several learners achieving gold in both Kata and Kumite. A special congratulations to Bryce (Grade 9), who has been selected to represent South Africa at the Continental Championships in Algeria!

Soccer – Congratulations to Payton, Madison and Langa, who have been selected for the 2026 Pinetown District Soccer Association Soccer Team.

Rugby – Well done to Rocco (Grade 8 on reaching the final round of KZN Club-level trials. Although an unfortunate wrist injury prevented him from taking part, his achievement in reaching this stage is something to be proud of.

Recycle, Reuse & Create! 🌎

The Pre-Primary children have been learning all about recycling over the past two weeks – and what a fun theme it has been! From learning how and why we sort rubbish to discovering how we can reuse everyday materials, our little learners have been busy learning, creating and having lots of fun along the way. 🗑️♻️

The classes used recycled materials to create some seriously creative robots, art masterpieces and Picasso-inspired pieces!

From cardboard boxes and bottle caps to all sorts of wonderful odds and ends, their imaginations really came to life.

We’ve learnt that even our little hands can make a BIG difference in keeping our beautiful planet clean, green and happy! Thank you for helping us recycle, reuse, create and learn together! 🌎

The Grade 1s had an unforgettable day at uShaka Marine World on 21 July as part of their theme - Under the Sea.

From discovering fascinating marine life to learning about the wonders of our oceans, the children listened attentively, soaked up lots of new information and made the most of the day.

The highlight? The spectacular dolphin show, which had everyone smiling from ear to ear!

Learning comes alive when the classroom extends beyond four walls and this outing was the perfect way to start a term filled with curiosity, discovery and adventure beneath the waves!

Our Waterfall Preparatory School and Waterfall College staff came together to reconnect after the Easter break. Good food and even better company filled the morning with laughter and energy. Moments like these remind us how important it is to pause, connect and enjoy being part of a team that feels like family.

Connection is key at Waterfall Schools 💙
