I have a story to tell, that will encourage others .

"She will " start seeing /feeling change within herself !

Women Rising is about all women rising above their struggles.
A time to gather together , to have a woman tell her story , how she built courage, resilience, strength ,finding her purpose in life 💝

For those listening - to hear, to be encouraged, be inspired, gain understanding & knowledge .

For all to leave the gathering feeling part of a community of friends-supported, held, cherished and applauded. 🙌

Pain does have a purpose 🙏
No pain , no gain ....now that's not altogether true , whether applied to life or wellbeing 🤔

In life, we have choices in how we are going to respond to thé pain & the circumstances that caused it are causing the pain.
There isn't a perfect template nor one size fits all solution/remedy.
One thing is certain though, we need to remember through the struggle that we must prioritise ourselves🫶
You cannot overcome the trauma of the scenario if you do not take steps daily ,even moment by moment to care for yourself, to prioritise your well being even if it is the very last thing that you feel like doing ❣️
At your lowest point, make it simple.
Wake up. Hug your knees to your chest & whilst doing so Be grateful for God waking you up.
Thank Him for one other thing.
You cannot be angry, scared, anxious, non-chalant when in gratitude. 🌞
Try it 🌟
Get up.
Wash your face . Clean your teeth .
Grab a strong coffee 😂😂works for me 😁
When you've mastered this consistently with INTENTION ...
Journal. 😍It can be as simple as ...well, I am up 🤗 Write down one goal to do that day, ....even if it's to get through the day 🧐
Excercise no 1.
High 5 yourself in the mirror 🖐️ and say ...

Feeling better a few days later add....
Creates happy hormones 🤸
Walk around the house.
Walk to the window , get sun on your face - proven to alter your mood , and it's healthy but D. 🌞

Now when your feeling truly much better than yesterday , do what I do ...almost monkey do as monkey see, instead woman do as woman see..
Move, run, walk, dance excercise, sport
Anything that you enjoy will lift your spirits, grow your strength, build your resilience and give you the desire to be intentionally consistent in being a woman rising above all, writing her story and living your purpose ❣️❣️

Ballet ❣️
I started at the age of two years old , upon the advice of our doctor as a solution to my flat feet😁
My love for movement of every kind as a means to escape hurt, confusion, anxiety & worry was born.
I became passionate about becoming a top Ballerina , so when I read that Margot Fontteine cleaned her teeth in arabesque 💯that became my rule too. 😚
In this photograph I am 12 years old , and had become the understudy for one of the main roles.
I started dancing in point shoes at age 8❣️❣️
In those days our points were hard, and let's just say I do not have the dainteist feet as a resúlt 😂😂
Talk about a back fire 💥

However, I loved go-carting, athletics, swimming & badminton as well so I was always on the go.
If something upset me, I moved 💃if I was happy, I moved 🚴 If I was anxious ,I moved 🏊

I was blessed to have learnt from such a young age ,that excercise was good for me - physically, mentally and emotionally.😍

It has become an integral part of my life in every way , and to this day ,I love it 🌟

That is why I want to help others to build themselves up into happier, stronger, healthier beings , developing resilience, courage and sel- belief .

It's called 'blocked seat booking' - you pay for the seat so no-one can sit next to you 😚😚

However, I would never deprive someone the blessing of sitting next to my son on a plane on a flight to Cape Town 😍
That would be so wrong 😋

Oh, and I have a voucher now so he can fly back 😂😂

Now that wasn't insulting as Shane Loved to say that Lee looked just like him 🫶

You have always been a shooting star of surprises🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
From my discovering that the 'cyst on my ovaries ' being diagnosed as .....having a heartbeat 💓
Such a surprise your dad took to sobriety with immediate effect 🤣
To absolutely astounding medical science in that you had Titrology Fallot with narrowing of the tricuspid, aortic and mitral valves heart condition , all 'issues' balancing the other out❣️So you had the most beautiful colour in your face, a beautiful disguise to a frightening scenario inwards - Dr Kingsley , the cardiac surgeon, used you to show studying cardiologists the importance of not judging a book by it's cover. ❤️
Growing up into a beautiful young lady , discovering your knight in shining armour in the Vodacom Shop ( he came with no return or refund 😂) and Juan became a part of our growing family. 💙
Now your wings are spreading further as God has blessed you with a baby- blessing - in the making (20 weeks in vitro on Wed ) 💙💙💜💜

A young mum to be ❣️💓💙

So 33 years of living an extraordinary life blessed by God 🙏
To many more as Roxy -wife, mummy ,sister & daughter for many more to come 💃💃💃💃

Being active, whether it's gym work, running in the outdoors or long walks in the wild bush, has been one of my biggest cornerstones to healing from abuse, learning that strength comes in different forms and ,oh the plethora for the mind 💃

Nutrition, sometimes more nutrition by ratio 😁sheer enjoyment compensation for true health 😅 is all about balance.

Being 64 , still standing after two wonky marriages , I believe I have alot to share with other women that will inspire, educate and help them to rise above their circumstances too.

That's what She Rises is all about.❣️
