A little old-school fun at Aftercare as the children tried apple bobbing π
There was a surprising amount of determination! It also brought back many happy memories for the adults watching along. Some games really never get old.

Our Grade 0000s recently ventured out to visit some very exciting new residents at Highbury Preparatory School β tiny tadpoles that have taken up residence in the school fountain πΈ
The children were fascinated watching them wriggle through the water, and there was great excitement when one of the boys carefully managed to catch a tadpole for everyone to see up close. Lots of curious questions followed as the children chatted about how tadpoles grow and change.

To celebrate World Bee Day, our Grade 00 and 000 children were treated to a fascinating presentation by Educate and Fascinate, while our Grade 0000s enjoyed a special puppet show.
The children learnt some incredible facts along the way β like how bees have two stomachs (one for nectar and one for honey), and that they need to visit millions of flowers to produce just one litre of honey!
There was plenty of excitement, curiosity, and buzzing conversation afterwards as the children discovered just how important these tiny pollinators really are π

Our Grade 00 children absolutely love their weekly visits to the Movement Room β and itβs easy to see why.
This incredible programme, developed by occupational therapists, is designed to strengthen core muscles and develop important gross motor skills through purposeful play and movement.
From climbing and balancing to jumping and crawling, every activity helps build confidence, coordination, and body awareness in such a fun and engaging way.
