Outstanding Achievement for Emma Privett!
We are incredibly proud to celebrate Emma Privett, who represented both Stanford Canoe Club and Western Province at the South African Canoe Sprint Championships in Pretoria.
Over three intense days of competition, Emma raced in the U/18 category across a range of K1 and K2 events, covering distances from 200m to 5km. She partnered with Hana Newlands from Epworth in the K2 doubles events, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and determination.
To be crowned Victrix Ludorum is a remarkable achievement and a testament to Emma's dedication, resilience, and hard work both on and off the water.
Congratulations, Emma! Your commitment and sporting excellence continue to inspire those around you. We also extend our congratulations to Hana Newlands for their successful K2 partnership throughout the championships.
π Please join us in celebrating this incredible achievement!

Practical life skills, manners, and etiquette form the foundation of emotional intelligence. They build strong relationships, smooth out daily social interactions, and project genuine respect.
Our 6-9 Phase children learned about all these skills during a tea party which they organised. The students set up, showed off their manners and learned some etiquette along the way.

βMusic and Dancing, not only give great pleasure but have the honour of depending on Mathematics, for they consist in number and in measure.....Therefore, whatever the old doctors may say, to employ oneself at all this is to be a Philosopher and a Mathematician.β

It is because of our incredible parent community that events like these are a success we want to shine a light on Wendy Harte for the HEART (no pun intended) time and commitment she put into organising and running our golf day. Wendy, we thank you and more importantly, you made a difference helping to raise over R68k for our bursary fund! π°
