A small Pre-school situated in central Hermanus. Kids from age 6 months to Grade R. Mulberry Bush Preschool opened as a private Pre-School in early 2007.
It was the brainchild of 3 teachers who loved what they do and loved their children. Mulberry Bush Pre-School has four classes. The Youngberries are 6 months to 2 years, Gooseberries 2 - 3 years, Strawberries 3 - 5 years and Blueberries 5 - 6 years (Gr R). Our classes are a combination of English and Afrikaans pupils and lessons are presented in both languages. Our motto is that children love to learn through play.

Our little ones have been buzzing with excitement about the upcoming Kalfie Fees – and we can’t blame them!
We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful town, where we get to celebrate our rich culture, creative spirit, and incredible sea life. 🐳💙
This year marks the 25th Hermanus Kalfie Fees – a much-loved tradition that brings our community together through music, theatre, food, and family fun.
And of course… it’s whale season! What a magical time to spot these gentle giants just off our shores. 🐋✨

Here's a look at what Teacher Cheryl-Lee an her kiddies were up to in the last week of the school holiday. "Baking" or experimenting with icing and different textures is good for the "touch"-sense. Their little fingers also got some exercise by picking up those small sprinkles.
