Study a DEGREE at Eduvos SA with a GED and SAT + Senatorial Discretion.

Eduvos will accept students who complete a GED, followed by the SAT. A student must achieve a minimum required SAT Composite score as confirmed by Universities South Africa (USAf) including the sub-minimum of Evidence in Reading and Writing, and Mathematics. Remarkable Achievement by a former Cape Home Educated Student, Justin Meyer

It's always inspiring to see testimonies of home educated kids succeeding as young adults. Justin Meyer, formerly from Cape Town was home educated all the way following an Eclectic approach. Justin enrolled with Go Prep to prepare for the GED, as a Grade 12 alternative. He then completed a course in online animation studies at AnimSchool. In 2021, he moved to Ohio in the USA and enrolled in Shawnee State University’s nationally ranked gaming engineering technology programme, where he earned academic honours on the President’s List. This requires achieving a minimum of a 4.0 grade point average. During his final year, he spent the last four months applying his skills as a student employee at the Ohio Technology Consortium (OH-TECH). During this time he single-handedly created a “Universe of Opportunity,” a virtual reality experience that offers tours of Ohio’s two- and four-year colleges, universities and technical centers. His achievement is so remarkable that they published this article about it.
