🦁🦁HIGH SCHOOL: Netball
The HTS Drostdy Donkey Festival (Donkiefees) is a well-known community event hosted by Hoër Tegniese Skool Drostdy in Worcester, Western Cape. At the end of April, our U16 and U19 netball girls had the privilege of taking part, proudly representing our school with enthusiasm and teamwork.
Their participation was supported by Lucy Electric South Africa, part of the UK-based Lucy Group, which specialises in power distribution and smart grid solutions. Through its commitment to corporate social responsibility, the company actively supports sports development and the upliftment of local teams.
Thank you to everyone involved for making this possible!

🦁🦁Grade R fun!
Grade R (the reception year) is incredibly important because it lays the foundation for all future learning, including success in high school later on. Think of it as the “building blocks” stage: what children learn here shapes how well they cope academically, socially and emotionally in the years ahead.
At Curro Hermanus, our Grade R classrooms are thoughtfully integrated into the primary school environment. This is a deliberate decision designed to support a smooth, confident transition into “big school”.

🦁🦁GRADE R's
Our Grade R learners had the best time at the mobile tuckshop! From choosing their own treats to paying like real shoppers, it was a fun-filled learning experience full of excitement and independence.

🦁🦁PRESCHOOL: Group 2
Two‑year‑olds are driven by their senses. Making a bird feeder (handling seeds, spreading peanut butter, feeling textures) helps them to explore a new world. They also begin to grasp that: we make the feeder → we put it outside → birds come to eat. What a wonderful accomplishment!

🦁🦁Throwback Thursday: High School
As we reach the final stretch of the second term, with our high school learners deep in the midst of exams, we take a moment to reflect on what has been an exciting and rewarding few months. From a highly successful Culture Festival, to a series of outstanding achievements by our athletes across various sporting codes, to strong academic results and even participation in a chef’s competition, it has truly been a term filled with energy and accomplishment.
It has been a busy term, but one that has been incredibly fulfilling.
