*Small kids teacher/ Helper in the aftercare*
We are looking for an after school teacher to conduct classes, workshops, demonstrates and provides instruction to students on topics and skills such as dancing, physical fitness, self-improvement.
*Responsibilities*
1. Helping kids with their homework
2. Developing a careful and creative program suitable for kids
3. Employing a variety of educational techniques (Singing, storytelling, educational play)
4. Observing each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
5. Performs other duties as assigned by an appropriate administrator or their representative.
*Minimum requirements*
Clear criminal record
*Education*
Grade 12
Early childhood development Diploma
*Work experience*
Atleast 3 years Experience in working with children

*Knowledge,skills and abilities *
Must possess strong teaching skills.
Ability to explain and instruct students at a basic level.
Strong written and verbal skills
Ability to work without close supervision

Aftercare:
At Kidz Worx Aftercare, we aim to provide your children with the best care possible, in a comfortable home environment in Hermanus. The children are collected from school at the end of every school day and taken straight to the Kidz Worx Aftercare facilities. On arrival, we provide a light lunch and once a week a pudding as a nice treat. After lunch, homework is supervised and later in the day a light snack is provided just before home time. At Kidz Worx Aftercare, we operate according to the Western Cape school terms. We are also open during school holidays between 7:00 - 18:00. During the holidays, lunch and snacks are served, however no breakfast is available – parents are welcome to provide their own.
