Today’s chapel at Hermanus Christian Academy was truly a wonderful and blessed time in God’s presence. Our praise and worship lifted our hearts as we gathered to honour and glorify the Lord. Mr Faro brought a powerful message from the story of David and Goliath, reminding us that God does not look at appearances, abilities, experience, or outward qualifications. He looks at the heart. What matters to God is the attitude of our hearts. Our faith, obedience, courage, and willingness to trust Him. Just as Goliath represented a seemingly impossible challenge, we all face “Goliaths” in our lives. But when we put our trust in God, no challenge is too great and no situation is impossible for Him.
«“For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37 . May we continue to walk by faith, keep our hearts right before God, and remember that victory belongs to those who trust in the Lord!

We had a wonderful visit from the Overstrand Social Worker, who taught our Grade 0 learners about the importance of their body parts, how to care for their bodies, and the importance of respecting themselves. Our little ones thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and learned so much! What a valuable and meaningful learning experience!
Thank you, Overstrand Social Services, for investing in the well-being and education of our learners!

Last Tuesday, our Grade 6–9 learners officially resumed their Chess Classes, where they are developing both their strategic thinking and practical playing skills.Chess is much more than a game,it strengthens critical thinking, concentration, problem-solving, patience, decision-making, creativity, and self-discipline. These are valuable life skills that support academic success and help learners grow into confident leaders.
