What we get up to on a typical day at SASC 🦈

This week our intern team scoured Hermanus beaches for cold-shocked baby sea turtles and shark egg cases. No baby sea turtles, but we found 4 gorgeous egg cases!🦈 (All species IDs made by SASC interns. If you have a correction let us know!)

Hey, I’m Chloë and I’ve escaped rainy England to spend some time at SASC! I have worked on some incredible conservation projects, both land and marine based, and last year I had the best time with + as an intern studying sharks and rays.
I love spending as much time in the water as possible and am a keen scuba diver, I’m looking forward to lots of snorkelling through the kelp!
I am keen to learn everything SASC has to offer 🦈
