Today, we celebrated the people who create a little bit of magic in our classrooms, on our sports fields and in the everyday moments that shape our learners.

Our Teachersโ€™ Day Appreciation Assembly was a special opportunity to honour our MCS teachers with gifts of gratitude, heartfelt words from our class monitors and duty panel, and delicious treats lovingly prepared by our MCS Class Moms.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our teachers feel valued, appreciated and celebrated. โค๏ธ

Because great teachers do more than teach; they create magic, inspire confidence and help our learners believe in what is possible.

Happy Teachersโ€™ Day to our incredible MCS teachers! โ›ฐ๏ธ

Today, we celebrated our learners at our MCS Sport Certificate Assembly, recognising achievement across every MCS internal sport, regardless of whether learners participate in official league games or championships.

These certificates are awarded on merit, with a special focus on the progress, commitment and development shown throughout the season.

Our Most Improved recognition celebrates learners who have demonstrated meaningful growth, whether they:
โ€ข learned a sport for the first time and developed strong skills;
โ€ข adapted successfully to a new position;
โ€ข improved significantly from the beginning to the end of the season; or
โ€ข in Archery, demonstrated improved grouping on the target.

Because sporting success is not only about winning. It is about showing up, putting in the effort, developing your skills and becoming better than you were before.

To every learner who received a certificate today, well done! Your growth matters, your effort matters, and your progress is worth celebrating.
Growing Confidently and Courageously. โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™

Our Matrics had the special opportunity to participate in our annual Matric Lock Ceremony alongside their mentors, their appointed teachers.

The lock symbolises the closing of an important chapter in their school career while also representing the beginning of an exciting new journey ahead.

On Monday, 28 September, our Matrics will begin their final Cambridge external examinations. As they take this next step, we celebrate not only what they have achieved, but also the young adults they have become.

May they carry with them the lessons, friendships, memories and values that have shaped their MCS journey, and step into the future with confidence and courage.

โ€œThe beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.โ€ โ€” B.B. King

Close the chapter. Carry the lessons. Unlock the future.

We are incredibly proud of you, Matrics. Go forward with faith, courage and purpose.

A deeply meaningful MCS tradition marked the final school day of our Matric Class of 2026.

Each Matric had the opportunity to ring our school bell individually, symbolising the closing of their school journey and the beginning of a new chapter.

With their parents, teachers and fellow High School learners gathered as witnesses, our school formed an honorary guard as the Class of 2026 made their way towards their final assembly, a fitting tribute to their journey, their achievements and the legacy they leave behind.

There were smiles, memories and perhaps a few tears, as we paused to reflect on how far they have come.

โ€œEvery ending is a new beginning.โ€

Class of 2026, may the sound of the bell remind you of where you came from, the people who walked beside you, and the courage you carry as you step into what lies ahead.

Ring the bell. Close the chapter. Step boldly into your future.
