As we helped students, jobseekers, and entrepreneurs with their digital needs, many people told us they wanted more than access to computers — they wanted the skills to use them confidently.

That’s why every Madskills Academy class is structured around 2 powerful hours:

📘 1 Hour Theory – Learn the concept, understand the process, ask questions.

💻 1 Hour Practice – Apply what you’ve learned immediately, with guidance from your facilitator.

Why do we limit our classes to just 4 students per session?

Because learning computers is not a spectator sport.

In a smaller class, every student gets more attention, more opportunities to ask questions, and more support when applying new skills. Nobody gets left behind. Nobody gets lost in the crowd.

At Madskills Academy, we believe that focused learning leads to higher knowledge retention, greater confidence, and faster skill development.

Our four-seater classroom model allows facilitators to work closely with every learner, providing real-time guidance and feedback throughout the lesson.

Introducing Siyabonga Sokhela – Chief Facilitator, Madskills Academy

Madskills Academy is proud to introduce Siyabonga Sokhela, an entrepreneur, facilitator, and lifelong learner who serves as the Academy’s Chief Facilitator.

Siyabonga holds a National Diploma in Marketing from the Durban University of Technology (DUT), completed in 2015, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Informatics through the University of South Africa (UNISA).

With years of experience in digital services, business development, computer systems, and office productivity tools, Siyabonga has dedicated much of his career to helping people access opportunities through technology and practical skills development. Through self-education, professional experience, and continuous learning, he has developed a deep appreciation for the role digital literacy plays in personal and professional success.

As Founder of ILIFENET and Chief Facilitator of Madskills Academy, his mission is to equip learners with practical, workplace-ready skills that build confidence, improve employability, and create pathways to opportunity in an increasingly digital world.

Through Madskills Academy, he hopes to share not only technical knowledge, but also the mindset of continuous learning, adaptability, and personal growth that has shaped his own journey.

ILIFENET, with the support of Digital Outlet and the Youth Public Information Centre (YPIC), is proud to introduce Madskills Academy — a practical skills development initiative created to empower students, jobseekers, entrepreneurs, and professionals with the digital and workplace skills needed to thrive in today’s economy.

Our inaugural intake begins on 6 July 2026 and will accommodate only 12 students.

🎓 4 Students – 20-Day (40 Hours) End-User Computing for Office Productivity
🎓 4 Students – 10-Day Introduction to End-User Computing (First Two Weeks)
🎓 4 Students – 10-Day Introduction to End-User Computing (Second Two Weeks)

Madskills Academy was founded on a simple belief: practical skills create opportunities. We are excited to begin this journey with our first group of learners and look forward to building a community of confident, capable, and future-ready individuals.
