Laastens verdien ons toegewyde groepleiers ’n spesiale vermelding. Om vir nege dae van familie en geliefdes af weg te wees, is nie maklik nie, maar sonder hierdie opoffering sou Odyssey eenvoudig nie moontlik wees nie.

Dankie dat julle bereid was om jul tyd, energie en liefde te gee en sodoende ‘n groot impak op ons graadtienleerders te hê wat nog lank tasbaar sal wees.

Behind every successful Odyssey is a dedicated team working tirelessly behind the scenes. From our medics and mountain guides to our bike mechanics, river guides, photographer and bus drivers, each person played an essential role in keeping our learners safe, supported and moving forward throughout the journey.

Sonder die ondersteuning van Williams Hunt Midrand | Isuzu Midrand sou dit bykans onmoontlik wees om Odyssey veilig aan te bied. Die vier Isuzu-voertuie het hul waarde daagliks bewys deur rugsakke, fietse en toerusting te vervoer en ons leerders oral oor die uitdagende Magoebaskloof-terrein te ondersteun.

Ons wil ook graag ’n spesiale dankie sê aan Maple Ridge Spur vir hul waardevolle ondersteuning van Odyssey. Julle bydrae help om hierdie unieke ervaring vir ons graadtiens moontlik te maak.

ODYSSEY XII - DAY 9
The arrival ceremony is always one of the most eagerly anticipated moments of Odyssey – for both the learners and their parents.

After nine days of adventure, challenges, perseverance and growth, our grade 10s have finally crossed the finish line. Today was a celebration of everything they have overcome and accomplished along the way.

Congratulations to every Midstreamer who showed courage, determination and resilience throughout this incredible journey. You did it, and you should be incredibly proud of yourself!

ODYSSEY XII - DAG 8
Vir die eerste keer sedert die avontuur begin het, het die onderskeie groepe mekaar weer gesien. Groot opwinding, breë glimlagte en heelwat emosie – dit was duidelik hoe baie hulle mekaar gemis het!

Die dag het ook ’n oomblik van persoonlike refleksie gebied. Elke leerder het tyd gekry om ’n brief aan hul toekomstige self te skryf. Hierdie briewe word veilig bewaar en sal eers volgende jaar tydens hul graadelf-kamp gelees word.
