Grade R went on a wonderful water adventure! 💧

As part of our Water theme, our Grade R learners had the exciting opportunity to visit JoJo Tanks!

They learned so much about how tanks are made, discovered the different products available, and gained a better understanding of why saving water is so important.

Most importantly, our little learners learned how each of us can become a Water Hero!

To make the day even more special, every learner was spoiled with their very own JoJo Filter Bottle!

A huge thank you to JoJo and the entire team for welcoming us, teaching us so much, and making this such a special and memorable day for our Grade R learners. We are so grateful for the experience! 💙

Dreaming of Our Future Careers!

What a fun and exciting day we had as we dressed up and dreamed about the careers we might have one day!

We were also very fortunate to have a special visit from Somquba Ambulances! 🚑 Our learners had the opportunity to explore the ambulance, learn about the equipment they use, and discover some basic first-aid skills. 🩹

A big thank you to Somquba Ambulances for spending the day with us and helping our little learners learn more about the wonderful people who help us.

The future is full of possibilities!💫

Today our learners had an exciting visit from our local firefighters! 🚒🔥
As part of our People Who Help Us theme, they learned about the important role firefighters play in keeping our community safe. Thank you for an unforgettable and educational experience!

🕷️ Special Visitor Alert! 🕷️

Today our learners had the exciting opportunity to meet a Goliath Bird-Eating Spider! What an amazing hands-on learning experience.

The purpose of this special visit was to help our children understand the difference between an insect and a spider (arachnids). They learned that spiders have eight legs and two body parts, while insects have six legs and three body parts.

A big thank you to Megan Golden for bringing this fascinating creature to visit us and for helping make learning come alive. Our learners were curious, engaged, and absolutely amazed by this incredible spider!

🍋 What an incredible day! 🍊

Our Grade R learners had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Choicepack Packhouse for their annual excursion. From start to finish, the children were treated to a fun-filled and educational experience.

They learned so much about how lemons and oranges are grown, sorted, packed, and prepared before reaching our homes. Seeing the process firsthand made learning come alive in a way that only real-world experiences can.

A heartfelt thank you to the management and staff for their warm hospitality, generosity, and for making our visit so special. We truly appreciate the time and effort you invested in creating such a memorable day for our learners.

The smiles, excitement, and new knowledge gained will be remembered for a long time!
