Superyacht Training Academy will be hosting the Al Seer Marine Recruitment Day at our V&A Waterfront academy, giving selected candidates the opportunity to interview face-to-face with their team.

Previous yachting experience is not essential.

If you have a strong land-based CV, the right attitude, excellent presentation and the ability to work hard, you are encouraged to apply. Transferable hospitality, beauty, spa, housekeeping and customer service experience can all be relevant.

If you are successful, we can help you get the necessary yacht training and certifications in place.

RYA Day Skipper Practical takes the knowledge you’ve developed and puts it into practice on the water.

Over five days, you’ll develop practical experience in boat handling, pilotage, navigation and seamanship while beginning to take responsibility for the safe operation of a sailing yacht.

For aspiring professional crew, this is an important step forward.
