Curiosity Cube Sparks a Love for Science

On Wednesday, 2 September 2026, our Grade 6 and 7 learners had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Curiosity Cube at Rhodes University, where they explored the fascinating world of genetics and discovered more about how genes work.

Through interactive, hands-on activities, learners were able to engage with the topic in a fun and practical way while learning from the team guiding the experience.

Our learners thoroughly enjoyed the visit and left with even more questions and curiosity about science. A sincere thank you to Rhodes University for hosting the Curiosity Cube and helping to make this valuable learning experience possible for our learners.

We look forward to welcoming the Curiosity Cube back to Makhanda with a new topic that will once again spark their curiosity and inspire them to learn more.
