Yesterday afternoon our SPCA was contacted about a cow that had fallen down an uncovered manhole in the Tyantyi area. Our Inspector Maloli quickly responded and discovered that the cow was stuck approximately 5-6m beneath the ground in a sewer - getting him out was certainly not going to be easy! We are extremely grateful for Ashley Bowles from ARB Plant Hire for coming to assist us with one of their front end loaders at no charge. The cow was hooked up and hoisted out of the drain and miraculously ran off completely uninjured. Luckily we managed to get it all on video so you can witness the excitement of getting him out and get just a small taste of some of the challenges our SPCA has to face! 🐂
