We are deeply grateful for the support that has allowed Meal After School to thrive. Despite limited words, we are humbled by the faith Grahamstown residents and a few organizations have placed in our mission. Today, we received a generous donation from SASBO The Makhanda BEC, including food, four burner gas stoves, and gas cylinders, courtesy of Mr. Andile Poswa, (The local chairperson)Miss Unathi Tyani, (The local Secretary)and Miss Busisiwe Ndyawe(The local Tresurer). We extend our heartfelt gratitude for their kindness, which has helped restore our dignity after the fire in May 2024. With school resuming soon, their contribution will ensure the children's well-being. We also acknowledge Mrs. Sarah Llewellyn's consistent support and Mr. Noah Koski's donations. Thanks to SASBO The Makhanda BEC and its leadership, Meal After School is determined to continue making a positive impact in our community.please take a look at our joyfully photos when we were receiving the stoves, gas cylinder, pots, food and giving out clothes and food to the parents and to the kids

We wish to acknowledge and thank Mr. Noah Koaski and the group of international students for their visit to Grahamstown and their customary generous donation. Additionally, the students provided valuable clothing donations to MAS. Following the fire incident on May 5th, 2025, we have been compelled to adjust our operational schedule. As MAS, we are currently open on select Wednesdays and Saturdays, subject to food availability, and remain dedicated to providing academic support to children in need. Looking ahead, we are hopeful that the new year will bring opportunities for us to revitalize our programs, replenish our resources, and further develop our initiatives to support the community.take a look at our recent photos and previous onens,

Kingswood College, South Africa thank you for always believing in MAS we so greatfull

A Kingswood College learner from South Africa decided to launch his gardening project, and with the first harvest, donated the produce to Meal After School. Thanks are due to the educators at Kingswood College, especially Mrs. Lisa Portgieter and Mrs. Liz Bernard, for suggesting MAS. The community is pleased with the donation, and appreciation is extended to the learner for promoting gardening and educating peers about its benefits. The quantity is less significant than the joy of sharing. Today, each child received two cups of oats, and we appreciate Annelize's generous provision of oats porridge.
