Afrobot is an amateur robotics tournament that aims to provide South Africans learners with an opportunity to get involved in a technical project within a supportive and entertaining environment. Afrobot 2013 will consist of regional events hosted at centres around the country, and a national final hosted at Scifest Africa in Grahamstown, Eastern Cape on 13-19 March 2012.
