Hey Champions and eChampions. Check out our new episode about the university experience and mental health as some are finishing and have finished their exams. We had a discussion on what it means to be in university for most people and what should be the ultimate goal and experience. However, the road is full of challenges but we often overcome. We talked about mental health and how others have managed to persevere even when it got hard. The Rhodes University Counselling Centre, churches, societies and our friends (support systems) have been a source of strength. This is all discussed in the episode.

We met up with Gabriella Solomons to discuss about the university experience, mental health and exams. Vanessa and Gabby contributed to this rich discussion on how families can have conversations about mental health. They also gave insights about the fully functioning Rhodes University Counselling Centre. We also managed to talk about the challenges that where facing students before and during the covid 19 pandemic.
