GRADE R VIST SAIAB
Last week Friday our Grade R learners spent some time off campus to finish of their theme for the week, namely WATER.
They were treated to a great time at the South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity (SAIAB) in Somerset Street. The learners were very excited, witnessing and learning a lot more about water, as well as creatures and plants found within our waters.
A very fruitful outing that was indeed a highlight to close off an interesting theme for our Grade R class.
Thank you to SAIAB, Grahamstown for accommodating and informing our future generation about the importance of water.

REST IN PEACE
It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of our colleague, Mdumiseni Ngcozana, who passed away on Wednesday 29 July 2026.
Mr N, as he was affectionately known, was our Grade 3 teacher and a valued member of our team. During his time with the school, he demonstrated professionalism, commitment, and dedication to the responsibilities entrusted to him. His positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues earned him the respect and appreciation of staff and the wider community.
The news of Mr Ngcozana's passing has deeply affected colleagues, learners, and all those who had the privilege of working alongside him. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.
Following the announcement of the death, staff were informed, and appropriate support was made available to those affected. The school will continue to provide assistance to the family where possible and will communicate details of memorial or funeral arrangements as they become available and with the family's consent.
We remember Mr Ngcozana with gratitude for the valuable contribution made to our school. His legacy of service and commitment will not be forgotten.
Rest in Peace, Mr N!
