On Monday, our Grade R and Grade 3 learners enjoyed an exciting heritage outing, exploring the historic buildings and statues of Makhanda (Grahamstown).

A fun filled end of Term 3 was had by all with many Heritage Day celebrations. It was lovely to see so many dressed beautifully, showing off dances, poems and songs, and enjoying traditional games. The Grade 7s also had their entrepreneurs day market today, with treats and games for every budget. Thank-you to everyone who worked hard at home and at school to make today so enjoyable. Enjoy your holidays and see you next term on the 7th of October! 🇿🇦

What a wonderful day we had welcoming Tickets to the Moon Theatre Company to our new hall for the very first time! ❤️

The children were especially delighted to see Mr Hare Meets Mr Mandela come to life on stage. Many of them remembered the story from when they performed it themselves during their Foundation Phase years, making this performance even more special. 🥰

The production was highly interactive, full of energy, and thoroughly entertaining .

A huge thank you to the talented cast and crew for bringing this beautiful story to life and creating such a memorable experience for our children.🎭❤️

This week we planted trees in celebration of Spring and Holy Cross day. Many thanks to the Siya from Nguni nurseries for the generous sponsorship of the trees and Coenie from Cold Springs who kindly assisted with the digging of the holes. Well done to the children who, with the help of Tat’Phumzile and their teacher got the rest done in time for the rains.

We would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU!!! to our wonderful neighbors for their support of our school. On spring day, the children all went home with a baby Outeniqua Yellowwood tree. They were kindly donated by Nguni nursery 🍀🌺. They also donated 10 large trees for the school (waterberries and river bush willows) which Coldsprings is kindly helping us to dig deep holes for. 🦋
