It was wonderful to have all our Redwood schools come together to celebrate Arbor Day by planting a tree, creating a memorable moment of growth and connection across our school community. 🌱

Redwood College had the privilege of joining Lifehouse for their inauguration service as they celebrated their new premises after four years of praying and trusting God for a place to call their own.

What began with them using our school hall has grown into a meaningful relationship, with Lifehouse also pouring back into our community through the beautiful work they have done in our hall.

We are grateful for God’s faithfulness and for the opportunity to walk alongside Lifehouse as they begin this new chapter.

The Grade 9 EMS class had a very interesting excursion to Nashua East London. They gathered a wealth of information about entrepreneurship and came prepared with some very interesting and thought-provoking questions.

We also visited the SARS building, where the learners exchanged ideas about the purpose and role of SARS. And, of course, we had to make a final stop at McDonald’s! 🍔😊

We’re looking for a passionate and suitably qualified Grade 7 Educator to join our Christian school community from 5 October 2026.

If you’re an Intermediate & Senior Phase educator who can teach Mathematics and Science, is SACE registered, and passionate about developing the whole child, we’d love to hear from you.

28 Years and Counting! 🎂

“Great is thy faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:23

There is so much to be grateful for as we celebrate 28 years of Redwood College Gonubie. Our learners celebrated the occasion with some tasty ice lollies and lots of laughs.

We are grateful for every child who has walked through our doors, every teacher who has invested in a young life and every family who has trusted us with their children. We thank God for His faithfulness throughout every season and for the years of growth He has blessed us with.

As we recently celebrated this milestone, we look forward to all that lies ahead and trust God to continue guiding us in the years to come.

This Women’s Day, we remember the courageous women who stood together on 9 August 1956, using their voices to help shape the future of generations to come.

Today, we honour the women who continue to shape generations in their own unique ways. From those who inspire in our classrooms to the moms supporting learning at home, and the daughters, sisters and women who pray for us and hold space for us, your influence reaches further than you may ever know.

Thank you for the part you play in educating, encouraging and shaping the lives entrusted to you.

May the generations that follow be blessed by the faithful women who have gone before them.
