Yesterday, 1 June, we celebrated International Parents Day – a special opportunity to recognise and thank the amazing families who play such an important role in our children's lives.

At Happy Valley Pre-Primary, even baking becomes an exciting opportunity for discovery, creativity, and growth. From measuring ingredients to mixing, pouring, and decorating, our children are learning important early skills through fun, hands-on experiences. 💚

Activities like baking help develop confidence, teamwork, communication, coordination, and problem-solving — all while creating joyful memories with friends. 🌈👩‍🍳👨‍🍳

What’s one thing we hope every child leaves our little school knowing?

In a world that can sometimes feel a little too rushed, we believe kindness still matters most — and it starts in childhood.

From holding a friend’s hand to sharing toys, helping someone who has fallen, including others in play, or simply using gentle words… the smallest moments often leave the biggest impact.

At pre-school level, children learn through play, friendships, and everyday experiences. They watch, copy, and grow from the environment around them. That’s why we work so hard to create a space filled with love, respect, encouragement, and connection.

Because academics are important… but raising kind humans? That’s the real gold star. ⭐

Our hope is that every child who walks through our gates carries kindness with them long after their pre-school years are over. 🌱✨
