St Catherine's School

St Catherine's School Independent Catholic Co-ed School. Our assemblies have a Christian theme and Mass is celebrated fortnightly. St Catherine’s is an independent Catholic school.

As a Catholic Primary and High School we endorse a Christian-based ethos and value system in which pupils are expected to show respect for God, self, others and the school. In addition, Religious Education is part of the school’s academic programme. Pupils are encouraged to participate in outreach programmes to the needy and less privileged members of the community. We cater for boys and girls between the ages of 3½ and 18 years. Pupils are placed in classes of between 18 and 25 children. The Board of Governors of the school determines the criteria for admission in accordance with the Constitutions of our country and our school. The school offers classes from Grade 000 – Grade 12.

🎶 A Wonderful Celebration of Music 🎶

Our High School Mixed Choir delivered a beautiful performance of their own before joining a spectacular mass choir.

On Saturday, 12 September, our choirs participated in an inspiring workshop alongside the Harmonia Choir and choirs from Brackenhurst High School, Alberton High School and Dunamika. Together, they performed two mass choir pieces with the University of Johannesburg Choir.

What a memorable opportunity for our pupils to learn, collaborate and share their love of music! We are incredibly proud of everyone who participated. 👏🎤🎶

Congratulations to Noella Ntoko, who has been selected as one of the Top 50 English Olympiad winners for 2026!

In recognition of this outstanding achievement, Noella has been awarded a scholarship from Rhodes University, covering her first year’s tuition for any degree offered by the university, subject to admission requirements.
