A quiet aircraft. A waiting runway. An infinite horizon.

A propeller is one of the hardest-working components on your aircraft. Every take-off, every climb, every landing.
What might look like a small stone nick or minor damage can quickly develop into cracks, vibration, reduced performance, or even catastrophic failure if left unchecked.
During every pre-flight inspection, take a moment to inspect:
✔ Leading and trailing edges
✔ Nicks, dents and cracks
✔ Corrosion or erosion
✔ Oil leaks around the propeller hub
✔ Security of the spinner and mounting hardware
If something doesn't look right, don't fly until it's been inspected by a qualified aircraft maintenance engineer.
At SAO, we believe that great pilots don't just know how to fly—they know how to identify the small details that keep every flight safe.
A safe flight starts on the ground.
👇 Question for our pilots and students: What is the smallest defect you've ever found during a pre-flight inspection that turned into a significant maintenance item?
