Precious moments in Chapel. 💙

Watching our little ones praise and worship together is such a special reminder of what a privilege it is to create a space where faith can be part of their everyday school experience.

Science in action! 🔬⚡

Our students have been testing acids and bases, exploring energy sources, experimenting with static electricity and watching chemical reactions unfold.

Learning the concepts by actually putting them to the test. 🧪

Phase 2 is officially underway at St Luke’s as we prepare for 2027!

Our campus is a big one, which makes it especially exciting to see the next part of it being transformed. The Senior Prep building is now undergoing a major upgrade, alongside work to the parking area and our new playscape (watch this space!).

From the start, our approach to this campus has been a very intentional one. We’re carefully considering how the old and the new come together, selecting materials and finishes with purpose, and thinking deeply about how every indoor and outdoor space can best serve the children who will learn, play and grow here.

We want to honour the character of this incredible campus while creating something that feels distinctly St Luke’s - thoughtful, beautiful, practical and made for the way children learn.

We love watching each new space come to life, and we love how excited our families and community are alongside us.

We’re getting there - one space, one phase and one exciting step at a time. 💙

Happy Heritage Day from all of us at St Luke's!

Our St Luke’s College community came together to celebrate the many cultures, stories, languages and traditions that make up our South African heritage.

Heritage Day is a chance to celebrate where we come from, but also the things we share - learning from one another, respecting one another and recognising that we all belong.

At St Luke’s, we want our pupils to be proud of who they are, value their roots and grow up with an appreciation for the people and cultures around them.

A colourful and joyful celebration of heritage, identity and community. 💙

Wearing the badge of love! ❤️🏅

Last week, our Grade 8 students were challenged to show that love is an action, not just words.

They pledged to love in action and wore their promise with pride, choosing to show kindness, care and love in every way. ❤️✨

Dear Addison, we also love the part where David hits Goliath on the head with a rock. 😄💙

We asked a few of our children what they love most about Chapel / Thrive Youth, and which Bible stories are their favourites... Have a look at what they had to say.

Yesterday was all about colour, mixing and a little bit of maths in Grade R. 🌈

Our learners explored primary and secondary colours with a hands-on colour-mixing activity, and also got to know the plus (+) and equals (=) signs ahead of starting addition.

A lovely mix of creativity, curiosity and learning through play. ❤️

Best last day of term ever? Possibly. 🏎️

Our inter-house soap box races brought out the competitive spirit in everyone, including the staff, who lined up against our Grade 9s and gave it everything they had. The campus was loud, the races were fast and the fun was non-stop.
