Exploring different materials (soft, fluffy shapes) with their hands, which supports development through:
1. *Sensory exploration*: Feeling varied textures stimulates tactile awareness and sensory integration.
2. *Fine motor skills*: Manipulating textures helps strengthen hand and finger muscles.
3. *Cognitive learning*: Recognizing different feels builds sensory discrimination and awareness.
4. *Creativity*: Engaging with textures encourages imaginative play and sensory art experiences.
5. *Social interaction*: Sharing the activity with a caregiver promotes bonding and communication.
A safe, engaging way to introduce texture‑based sensory play for early learning.

Our toddlers had so much fun yesterday with a matching and sorting activity🥳, using an elephant illustration and three coloured balloons (white, blue/teal, red) with bottle‑cap tops that was placed matching the circles next to the elephant. The toddler placed the string‑attached balloons and moved it to the correct position.
It benefits toddlers by developing:
1. Fine‑motor skills – manipulating the caps and pulling the string strengthens hand‑eye coordination and finger dexterity.
2. Cognitive skills – matching colours or shapes improves recognition and problem‑solving ability.
3. Sensory awareness – feeling the different textures of the caps and string adds sensory input.
4. Language development – naming the colours or animal encourages vocabulary building.
This was an extremely beneficial activity for our little ones 😎

Choosing the Right Nursery School Matters 🌈🏫
Finding the perfect nursery school for your little one is a big decision - and it’s about so much more than just location or cost. 💛
Here are a few important things to consider:
👩🏫 Qualified, caring teachers who create a safe and nurturing environment
🧸 A stimulating learning space filled with age-appropriate activities
🤝 Positive teacher-child interaction and small class sizes
📚 A balanced programme that includes play, learning, creativity, and rest
🛡️ Safety and cleanliness as top priorities
The right nursery school should feel like a second home - a place where your child feels happy, secure, and excited to learn every day. 🌟
