The staff had a bit of fun to get themselves ready for the new school year.

Our top achievers are: Ayanda Mashigo with an average of 81% and 3 distinctions,Ayanda Mashinini with a 78% average and 4 distinctions,Lebo Tjale with an an average of 76% and two dictinctions.Z.Makhubela(not pictured) also achieved a 78% average with three distinctions.Congratulations!

Germiston High School is extremely proud of its 2017 matric pass rate of 96%.The staff and learners are thanked for their hard work and congratulated on this achievement.The class of 2017 is wished great success for their future endeavours.We hope that 2018 will also be a rewarding and accomplished year for all the GHS stakeholders.

We at GHS would like to thank all the ladies who shared women's month with us at our school's Centenary High Tea.

The event started with our MC, Ms Bray, who made everyone feel welcome. She was followed by our Acting Principal, Mrs Galiani, who shared with us how the role of women has changed over the years. We were then entertained by the super-talented Hunter, from Sounds of Hunter, who had people on their feet dancing and enjoying her gifted voice.

After a light lunch we had a few members of our choir performing an ensemble followed by Elsabe Aldrich, a dynamic and fun speaker who, with her striking looks and charismatic personality, had the ladies in the palm of her hand.

It was definitely a day to remember.

We would also like to thank the following people for all their hard work and contribution towards making this event a success:

Mrs Cruz, Mrs Deyzel, Ms Bray, Ms Bowles, Ms Fritz, and last but certainly not least the catering learners.
